From The South

 Following the M6 North leaving at junction 25, on reaching the roundabout take the 2nd exit south following the signs for Ashton A49 (Do not follow the brown advisory signs for Three Sisters) Travel about 1/4 mile and notice The Park pub on the right, then take the next left turn down Landgate Lane at Land gate School.

After three hundred yards the tarmac roads ends and becomes an unadopted road. Proceed approximately one mile, turning right over the railway bridge. (the lake is visible on the left after the bridge) Continue on, (approx 1/2 mile) when you see farm buildings, look for Park Brooke Farm on the left, and turn left (before the large sleeping policeman) through the farm yard and follow the track directly down to the lake.

From The North

Come down the M6 passing Junction 25 (which as no South bound exit) Leave the M6 at junction 24 turning right at the top of the slip road, over the motorway and then right again back onto the M6 North. Leave at Junction 25 and follow the instructions above.

From The East

Follow the M62 or A580 proceeding onto the M6 North and follow the instructions above
